Getting a crown is a common dental procedure, but it can still be a hassle. Our cutting-edge technology makes getting a crown faster, easier, and more comfortable for you.

WHAT IS A SAME-DAY CROWN?

We use CEREC crowns for all of our same-day procedures. These crowns are created using CAD/CAM technology, which stands for Computer-Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing. The procedure follows these steps:

• The dentist scans your mouth with a 3D camera
• The scans are entered into a special computer
• A customized dental prosthesis is designed and manufactured in the office
• The dentist fits the personalized crown to your mouth in minutes

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF SAME-DAY CROWNS?

Same-day crowns are faster. A traditional crown procedure requires multiple appointments, and patients often have to wear a temporary crown for several weeks before the permanent crown can be placed. Same-day crowns have the same quality and durability as traditional crowns, but they can be created and applied in just one hour! This allows you to avoid multiple injections and inconvenient follow-up visits.

Same-day crowns are more comfortable. CEREC crowns are created using digital scans, so no uncomfortable impressions are necessary. Since the crown is custom-fit when created, bonding it only takes minutes, and patients experience less sensitivity afterward.

Same-day crowns are more aesthetically pleasing. The digital scans used to create CEREC crowns provide highly detailed images. Because the crown is machine-made using these images, it mirrors the shape and appearance of your natural teeth more closely than a traditional crown.

IS A SAME-DAY CROWN RIGHT FOR ME?
